Scrambled

Answers to clues marked with a * need to be scrambled into non-words before entry in the grid. Five other clues contain an extra word which must be removed for the clue to parse. In the completed grid, some hidden words may be found suggesting how to color the grid, creating an image of the unscrambled puzzle as described by the extra words.
