A small change to billing

Hi solvers -

I’m writing today to notify you that in the new year, starting on January 29, the Gnomon will be shifting our monthly billing rate, from $6 every other month, to $3 every month. (So the same total price, but spread out a little more.) This change is just to reduce the amount of manual tweaking needed on my end to suspend payments in the off months. Issues will still come out every other month, still at about four puzzles per month, and annual subscribers are unaffected. If you're a current monthly subscriber, you shouldn’t be charged anything until after January 29, when the shift goes into effect for the February issue.

The policy will remain that if an issue someday is late or missed, then payments will be suspended correspondingly, but it’s now more complicated to phrase what exactly this means than the old policy of “You won't be charged until an issue comes out.”

And again, if you're an annual subscriber, there's no change at all.
